Giving As A Company
There are many ways that companies and their
employees can contribute to Molar Express Minnesota.
Sponsorships
It’s hard to ignore a 40-foot vehicle. We offer several sponsorships
that allow a company to sponsor all, or part, of our mobile dental
clinic. Such sponsorships offer high visibility in the Twin Cities’
metro area. Other promotional marketing opportunities are also available.

Corporate Contributions
Matching (Gifts) Contributions
Many companies offer a matching gift program which could increase
your collective contribution. Contact your human resources department
to determine if Molar Express Minnesota qualifies for a company matched
gift. Many companies will match retirees’ contributions as well. Use
this opportunity to double the impact of your donation.
Customer Gifts
Instead of sending promotional or holiday gifts to each of your customers
or clients, a donation can be made in their name and we will send
them a card celebrating your generosity.
Employee Group Fundraisers
Build camaraderie with your co-workers. There are a variety of fun
and innovative ways in which employee groups can raise money to help
low-income children receive dental care. Some ideas include:
Golf Tournaments & Other Sporting Events
Invite vendors, clients and employees to golf, bowl, or play softball.
Donate the proceeds from your event to Molar Express Minnesota.
Bake Sales
Sell cookies, bagels, donuts or other pastries.
Raffles
Raffle off a paid day off or lunch with the boss or other exciting
prizes.
Pancake Breakfast
A great team-building way to start the day. It’s fun, it’s quick and
you get a bonus for involving managers in the flipping and filling.
Send co-workers on their way with complimentary dental floss and the
reminder that flossing can increase life expectancy by 7 years. Who
knew?
Payroll Deduction
There are two ways in which an employee can give through payroll deduction.
You can choose to make a one-time gift from a specific paycheck or
elect to have a certain amount deducted from every paycheck for a
year. To start a payroll deduction campaign at your place of employment,
contact your human resources department. Contributions are made pre-tax
and are tax free. (For specific tax advice, it is recommended you
contact your accountant or tax advisor.)
United Way Designation and Other Work-Place Giving Campaigns
You can help low-income children receive much needed dental care by
participating in the United Way annual appeal. Simply note “Molar
Express Minnesota” in the space provided. A check will be mailed to
us following the campaign. While your gift can stay anonymous, we
would appreciate you advising us of your name/address so that we can
thank you personally. |
