Express Minnesota partners with community organizations (“site partners”)
that are already working within the neighborhoods we seek to serve.
Site partners include schools, social service agencies, libraries,
and recreational centers.
Why We Use Site Partners
Site partners understand the communities MEM
is designed to strengthen. They are institutions and services already
known to, and trusted by, parents and they provide a gateway to
low-income families. Site partners work with us to ensure the success
of our program. They promote MEM’s services, distribute educational
materials, provide translation services, help qualify families,
collect paperwork, and guarantee a minimum patient list of 50 children
per week. They also provide essential on-site support, including:
electricity to operate the vehicle, a waiting room, access to restrooms,
and staff parking. The support we receive from our site partners
significantly reduces our operating costs and enables us to serve
even more children.
